Stayed up way too late last night talking quilting and slept in this morning so I had to make tracks today. I did some sewing this morning and went out for shopping around noon. Just in time for a cinnamon-sugar pretzel from JoJo’s. It was soooo good. I’m going to have that for lunch again [...]

Today was a day of mixed blessings. It poured down rain nearly the entire day. The folks with a rain gauge said we had nearly 4 inches today and there’s more forecast for tomorrow. On the positive side, the shopping was wonderful and the sewing room opened.

I’m leaving on Tuesday morning to attend a Dear Jane quilting retreat in Shipshewana, IN. I’ll be there until Sunday so there’s lots of time for sewing, shopping and eating pie. We’re staying at the Farmstead Inn.

We do our sewing in a huge room inside the red barn conference center.
