Shipshewana Day 5

Yes, I know I’m late in giving you the final Shipshewana installment but it’s been a wild couple of days. I started losing my voice Saturday morning and by evening I couldn’t talk at all. It was terrible. My final night and I’m without a voice. I did go shopping during the day. Saturday is [...]

Shipshewana Day 4

It’s well after midnight and I’m just beginning this post. I’m pretty tired so it might be short and sweet. The cool, damp, dreary weather is hanging on. I changed some of the settings on my camera and I’m not too happy with the results so I’ll try something different tomorrow. I also noticed that [...]

Shipshewana Day 3

Stayed up way too late last night talking quilting and slept in this morning so I had to make tracks today. I did some sewing this morning and went out for shopping around noon. Just in time for a cinnamon-sugar pretzel from JoJo’s. It was soooo good. I’m going to have that for lunch again [...]

Shipshewana Day 2

On The Road Again

I’m leaving on Tuesday morning to attend a Dear Jane quilting retreat in Shipshewana, IN. I’ll be there until Sunday so there’s lots of time for sewing, shopping and eating pie. We’re staying at the Farmstead Inn.

We do our sewing in a huge room inside the red barn conference center.

I love, love, love [...]

I think I’m going to have to admit I might be addicted to fabric. This eye opening experience began a few weeks ago. I had read a post on one of the quilting lists about a guild’s guest speaker who gave a lecture on organizing your quilting space. One of the points she stressed [...]

Happy Easter !

I haven’t forgotten about April’s patterns. They should all be posted within a couple of days.

If you haven’t signed up for the newsletter now would be a great time to take advantage of that. A newsletter goes out when all the blocks are online.

It’s spring break week around here. If you have the week off, [...]
