I wanted to thank you for your generosity in sharing all these wonderful patterns with us.

Thank you also for sharing your memories of your father singing "Ten Thousand Angels". I had never heard this song, but I listened to the music you provided and since have found a youtube clip where the song is sung. I have been going around singing the chorus and marvelling over the power that Jesus had to command, and the love and strength of will he had not to use that power. This week, I heard a sermon on the radio where the preacher talked about "that old hymn where Jesus could have called 10,000 angels", and before your post I wouldn't have known what he was talking about.

Hi Gayle, I know what you mean when you say that the hymn reminds you of your father. My father loved to sing and convinced my sisters and I to sing our way through the dishes. We worked out harmonies so our voices sounded like a choir[which we were all sang in at school]It also kept harmony in the kitchen because we sang instead of bickering. It was a special time for us all. We lost Dad in april 2005. I don't think you ever get over the loss of a parent. Big hug to you Gayle....Penny
