Sentimental Stitches

I wish I could have spent the day playing with my polka dot fabrics but they had to be set aside yesterday while I tackled my first plumbing job. The kitchen sink had developed it’s own love of dots by dripping an ever increasing number of water dots into the sink. After a lesson from Rob and a Google search, I shut off the water and took the faucet apart thinking I’d replace a couple of washers. What I had found in the goody box of spare parts wasn’t exactly what was needed and I had no desire to drive the 14 miles to town last night, so I cleaned everything with white vinegar (marvelous stuff), put it back together and said a prayer when I turned the water back on. Thank heavens! No drips!
