What a pretty block. I can remember seeing wonderful waterlilies in lagoons as a child. There were always very peaceful places surrounded by spreading gums and lots of beautiful, if noisy, native birds. I think I will really enjoy making this block for the thoughts in evokes. Best wishes for all your tests today. It is always stressful going through these procedures and then waiting to find out the results. Take some relaxing stitching with you and then the time is not a total loss. Take care.

I love water lilies! It reminds me of summer visits with my father's sister where we fished for sun fish among the lilies.... we never did catch one and when I think back it was most likely a way to keep three little girls busy....the dock was a rare treat and my younger sister worked hard learning to swim all summer just so she could fish too[there was a "no dock" if you couldn't swim policy]we thought the lilies were beautiful and seeing as my young sister was "not" a fisher-person I am sure it was the lilies that lured her....take a few quilt magazines with you today! The waiting game at clinics can be very tedious with all those cooking and "what the stars are doing" magazines that seem to grace the coffee tables there.....have a safe drive home!
