Summer is almost here in northern Michigan. It’s still cool during the day and cold at night so I continue to do inside stitching. Wednesday, June 3, there will be a sew along tutorial with step by step instructions (including pictures) to make the basic squares So Sew Easy Schlep Bag. I have my fabric picked out and hope you’ll be able to join in. If you’re busy that day you can stop by later to view the tute. |

New this month in the Online Store are some cute little quilt tops I came across while spring cleaning. They’re great to practice your hand or machine quilting on. There’s also a link to my ebay auctions. It’s amazing the amount of vintage items, fabric, clothes, shoes and other things I’ve found that need to go to a new home. I even have a scanner, printer, cash register and POS software for a quilt shop to sell so check those auctions weekly to see what’s new. The June block for the Sally Post Floral Sampler quilt has been posted. If you can’t wait for the free series to finish you can purchase the complete pattern in the Online Store. I am still working on the Polka Dot Garden projects. There were so many fantastic BOMs online this January so I decided to postpone it a while. Section 5 for the Shipshewana Amish Mystery quilt is also available. There are currently 87 Midget Blocks patterns online. I’ve taken a break from posting new blocks trying to decide what direction I want to go with the project. I want it to have more applique! As soon as I’ve made a decision you’ll be the first to know. If you’re looking for a great quilt that’s Jelly Roll friendly, why not make one of the Scrappy Sherbet quilts? You can make the quilt with only 1 Jelly Roll. It’s also a great stash buster quilt. I think we’re all trying to use a little more of what we have on hand. No boutique in Traverse City this summer so I’ll be able to devote more time to designing and staying in touch with all of you on the blog. I’m going to Liberty Bell Quilts in Cedar, MI tonight to sit and stitch for a couple of hours. Maybe I can do a little slideshow of the shop like I did during the last Dear Jane retreat in Shipshewana. Happy Stitches, Gay |

Do you have a e-mail list to let us know when the new midget blocks come on line? If you do please add my name. Thanks
wonderful site need to know where to find magic vine fabric thanks Flo
I have signed up for your newsletter about 13 months ago and haven’t received one yet. I have written a few times too asking questions and never got a reply.
I have been working on the Magic Vine blocks since the beginning and really have enjoyed them. I have my first 2 strips sewn together and have the strips added to them. I thought I should go ahead and just add a vine between them and finish it off, but I am not ready to give up on you posting the rest of the blocks yet.
Hope you can get back to posting the rest of the blocks soon.
I look forward to getting the Red work patterns for each day in March do I have to get your newsletter to receive them? or check your web site each day and refresh? Thanks so much.
I just tryed to sign up for your newsletter and it said that I was already on your list - if that is true, why am I not receiving them?
Love your Midgets and all the work you do for us - where do you find the time?

Hello there Gayle
Have tried again to sign up for the newsletter, but for some reason my computer is not letting it go through, so could you please add my name to the list for the newsletter. Am enjoying the Sally Post blocks and also eagerly awaiting the next block for the Amish quilt. Have told the girls from my quilting group and they are quite interested, we may even work on one of them together as a project. Thank you again for all the hard work that you do. It is much appreciated by us all.

I did not receive your newsletter. I have tried to subscribe again. It tells me that I am already subscribed. When I look at the web-site, the advertising is in the way. I can not read it. This is the second time I have sent this e-mail.
