it seems like a great site for free patterns. But for some reason when i tried batik steps and southern stars they came up error page. I didnt try any more. I thought this site might have a lot to offer but i knew free would have a problem somehow. Oh well

I am also looking for a Folded Star pattern. One of the girls at quilting has one, just one square potholder, but does not know how it was made. The ‘stars’ are open and just the centers are tacked down. I have seen another pattern, but in that one, all the folds are sewn down. Hope someone has this, it is probably an old pattern. I did one of these – it was called a Lifted Star and it was in left in the hoop to be hung up….oh about 25 yrs. ago.
