My friend gave me one of these bags made of jewel tone batiks. I used it as a carry on bag on the plane returning home and received compliments on it at the airport. Plan to make some for gifts myself. Thanks for the pattern.

I took a class last friday and made this schlep bag, I was suprised how easy it was. I was worried that it was going to be difficutlt. It was so easy that I am going to make some for Christmas gifts…I would however like to make a smaller version so I am going to experiment with smaller squares since I could not find a pattern under the so sew easy twisted catagory.

I have just made the schlep bag this afernoon and it’s great. I would love to be able to find the twists on altering the pattern.

I found your pattern a couple of years ago. I absolutely love my Schlep bags! I have made several for relatives also and I’m always seeing a fabric or more to make a couple more for myself. Thanks so much for sharing.
