Seams & Pressing

• Seams are always pressed to one side usually toward the darker of the two fabrics pieced together. Seams are not pressed open as in clothing construction.
• Most instructions will instruct you to “press” your seams. There is a difference between pressing and ironing. You don’t want to distort your pieces by ironing them as you would clothing.
