Quilt Market Report #2

Advertisements:

Here it is nearly Monday afternoon and I've come to the conclusion I need to stop adding things to the list for this second market report or you'll never get to read it today as promised. Truth is, I LOVE IT ALL! I'll admit to some favorites like reproduction fabrics and applique but if it has anything to do with making a quilt (or quilt related item), show me the fabric!

Look for lots of large scale prints. More, more and more chocolate brown, pink and turquoise blue. Reproduction Civil War prints are still going strong with vintage children’s book prints not far behind. There’s still a sprinkling of Liberty Lawn tiny prints, primitive plaids and oriental fabrics but look for designs that relate well to great home decorating.

Today we'll take a look at some of Moda's new releases for the first of the year and some new books hot off the presses. I'll refrain from singing the praises of each and every item so I can cram in more photos for you. I'm told a pictures is worth a thousand words! Click on the image for a larger picture.
