Trick or Treat Tots – Some Stitchery Sweets

I think it's about time we had some fun around here!

How about something special to look forward to each day!

I need a break from all the depressing economic twists & turns dissected on the news channels hour by hour.
I need a break from the endless bickering & attacks going back & forth between the presidential candidates.

I've had enough and decided to do something about it!

As I was going through embroidery designs while working on one of the Polka Dot Garden quilts I came across an adorable group of patterns featuring little boys and girls dressed in different kinds of clothing. It reminded me of when I was little and how much fun it was dreaming about my Halloween costume.
I've also been following the Holly Dolly Dress series from Lakehouse Fabrics blog. If you like girly things, check it out.

So...........beginning October 20th I'll post a Trick or Treat Tot pattern for you to print off and use as an embroidery, appliqué or redwork pattern. They'll stay on the web site until November 1 as my sweet treats to you for Halloween. Hopefully they'll bring a smile to your face and a be a bright spot in your day.
Spread the word and stop in Monday morning for the first pattern.

PS. I finished drawing the next Shipshewana Amish Sampler section. It's a big applique block. As soon as I get it through Photoshop to insert the colors it'll be up on the site.
