I hope you're having a wonderful Saturday morning. I must admit mine isn't getting the best start. The dogs woke me up extra early and no one wants to get up extra early on the weekend unless it's to go to a quilt show or fabric shopping. No plans to do either of those things today and I couldn't get back to sleep after realizing I had visitors during the night.
I've been watching this strawberry ripen over the last week. It's a beautiful jewel of a berry. Practically perfect in size and color.
Ack!!! This is what I found when I took the Clutch and Zoe outside this morning. I've been robbed!
And the big berry on the other side of the pot? Yup, that one was half eaten too. Insert a very big sad face! There was a great deal of interest from Clutch and Zoe in the clues left behind on the pot itself but no visible clues to me as to who the thief was.
I should have picked the berries yesterday - I know better! Let me just put out the word that the strawberry pot is growing legs today, legs that can't be climbed!
A line drawing of the block is also included in case you want to hand piece the block or make templates.
I guess that's it for this morning. I'll be stitching today - getting some binding ready and I'm busy working on new patterns. I also hope to take the last few stitches in the sixth block for my Roseville Album quilt. Have a great weekend everyone!
