Thread Your Needle

It's Violet writing for Grandma. She wanted me to tell you the first blocks for Vintage Blooms will be posted later today so you can thread your needle and get ready to stitch.

We had a few days this week when the snow was really pretty and Grandma decided we should play instead of work on the quilt blocks. She got out my Daddy's snowsuit from when he was little so we could go outside to catch a few snowflakes.

Getting ready to go out and play in the snow is lots of work. We looked like a scene out of A Christmas Story and I didn't like the snow as much as Grandma thought I would but when we came back inside...........

Violet January 2016 1 (1) I got to play dress up and that was fun!

Grandma went to get the holiday sparkles taken off her toes this morning and restocked the refrigerator this afternoon but she's finishing up the patterns now and will get them posted before she goes to bed tonight.

Violet , You and Grandma had a busy day! Lots of fun. We can wait to get our patterns and I am glad you had a great day.

Looking forward to the pattern, but playing in the snow with grandma (or playing dress-up) is much more important. Wish we had some of the white stuff here!

Playing with the little one definitely comes first! Thank you for the patterns….
