Don’t Miss Your Chance To Enter

Today is the last day to leave a comment on this post so you'll be included in the anniversary prize drawing for January.
Four Centuries of Quilts January prize This month's prize is the beautiful Four Centuries of Quilts book. It's one of my favorites and if you love antique quilts it should be in your library.

1857 Album Quilt Blocks 1-2-3
Are you working on your blocks for The 1857 Album Quilt? I'm surprised how quickly I can get one of these appliqued. This quilt is going to be so much fun to make.

Here's my first three blocks. They're aren't quite finished yet and I haven't added my corner diamonds but you can see my fabric choices. These are the fabrics that will be included in the monthly printed pattern/fabric packets. There's only a week left to sign up if you want to be included in those and only a few spots still open. All you need to do is fill out the form below -

1857 button If you're blogging about the quilt and want to add a link button to your block so others can find the free patterns, the code is in the right sidebar. Thanks to everyone spreading the word about this quilt. Each time I look at it I see something new. I'll be sharing more close up photos in the next few days.

I'm adding new patterns and notions to the online store today so watch for your newsletter tomorrow with that information and this week's coupon. The Sale section has new additions too!

Before I say goodbye today I want to share this stunning interpretation of the Just Takes 2 Benjamin Biggs quilt with you. It was made by Ellen and she has several pictures of her quilt in her Quilts 2015 Flickr Album If you're not sure you'll be able to finish all of your blocks, think about an alternate set with the blocks you have and get yourself a finished quilt! A big thank you to Ellen for allowing me to share her quilt.

Check out her Sally Post Floral Sampler quilt too! I think Ellen is a very prolific, talented quilter!
