my 1st January blocks
hello everyboby! until yesterday evening I didn’t believed that I can sew something like this 🙂
but I did it! sure, I have a problems with size… some blocks are a little bit larger and some – a little bit smaller then required size.. hrr… maybe I was not very accurate with cutting?

Masha, you might want to try my 1/4″ seam allowance “test” here: http://good-times.webshots.com/album/569415726bHNKHF
To get blocks the right size, you need to cut, piece and press ACCURATELY! Hope this helps!

I like the pink with the red.
it happened because I really wanted to make these blocks, and started when my red fabric has not come out of the store 🙂 but I like a result too. I plan combine those fabrics..
I think they look very nice. I’m not accurate either. They always come out fine. Love the color
