I never would have thought I would try to piece a star, but sure enjoyed it and plan to make more star blocks in the future. Really had fun putting that one together. All hand pieced again.

I decided to do my quilt in 30’s reproduction fabrics. I was really not a very experienced quilter when I started JT2 and did not have much of a stash, so I used this quilt as an excuse to collect the pretty 30’s fabrics. It is all hand pieced so far, and I am going to start hand quilting it in the sections as they are put together. Making this quilt continues to be the most fun learning experience ever for me.
