My Red/White Quilt
I have finished the last five blocks. I put them away and forgot to take photos, but will get them out in the next day or two and post. Believe it or not, the most difficult one for me was the last one!! I just struggle with those little pedals – ole arthur in my right hand doesn’t help!!!
I have learned to just take it easy as I hand applique, which I really love. Your colours look lovely. Nice touch with the multi-colored fan.
OOOOPPPPSSSS. The comment about the different colred fan blades was for a different posting. I forgot what I was doing as I went to the next page. I like to prep a whole bunch of blocks to have ready to take with me to do the applique. I am on the home stretch with dear Jane and almost all the appliques are doen, so hoefully there will be more for this quilt.
..but you are not letting Arthur whip you!!!! You go girl!!! I would not think we are racing…just getting it done as we can………I have never done hand applique but am saying each melon I do looks better than the one before…however, the last melon may not be as good as it is supposed to be ..am not there not yet but almost….and another technique I have tried..the first one I did NOT like at all but it’s growing on me. Like it? Like it NOT? Like It! Thanks for the inspiration!
