It’s very subtle, but I did a little shading on these two blocks. The 9-patch in the middle is a little darker than the rest of the pieces and the flying geese gradate from dark to light. It’s a great place to use an ombre fabric!

My quilt will be scrappy greens and scrappy off-white/cream backgrounds using this green fabric for the focus as well as the backing. It will be made for a friend of my son who has worn out the quilt I made for his high school graduation in ’93. I’ve already replaced the binding once on that one, and I think he just needs a new quilt!
