I know, I’m late a bit because the previous set with the big applique block was too hard for me. But these 4 blocks are really easy but I have some problems with the paper piecing. Some times there are too much seam allowances on one site, so I have a little montain of textile. I try trimm textile layers, but I dont know it is the correct way or not.

The hand applique is the hardest work for me. It is the reason why sewing this unit took two months . Finally section A is ready.

Grandma’s Favorite …

I needed two weeks to be able to start sewing the block of Grandma’s Favorite Compass because at the first time I was frightened of the hand piecing and the applique. It took me one day but I am not pleased with my work. The hardest step was the melons applique.

I finished five blocks of Februar. I hadn’t got freezer paper so I needed to use another paper. I had heared that I could work with copy paper packing. I tried it and it worked.
