Blocks 1-5
Hello all,
I am Celine, French living in the UK who started a Dear Jane 8 years ago (still unfinished!). I blog at: http://espritpatch.blogspot.com/ where you can see more detailed photos of my blocks.
Here are my first 5 blocks for the Just Takes 2 mystery quilt. I have chosen to do mine in blue and cream (Kona Eggshell). I had a stash of blue vintage fabrics that I bought years ago because I liked the look of them but without a project in mind so I think they’d be perfect for this one.
The fabric I used in block #1 is very special as I bought in Japan when we went there 4 years ago, it even has Brenda’s name on it!
Total so far = 91 pieces

Oh, the pressure! It never occurred to me to count the number of pieces. I started my Dear Jane 2 1/2 years so I see there is still hope for me. I stopped counting the blocks after I completed 100 and pinned them to a 8’x8′ design wall I put up last summer.
Love the blues. It will be very special to you with your trip fabs incorporated. What a wonderful way to use these.
OMG – I started my Jane I think about 6 years ago!! Just started to pick it up again now!! My husband calls it my ‘Life’s Work’. I told him if I dont ever finish it … I want my blocks to ‘come with me’ … maybe then I will have serious time to sit and sew!!
