Serendipity

5 of the blocks from Aug 15. Because they were applique, I prepped them really quick and took them with me on a weekend away. I still have a whole bunch half done and a few not yet started.

  1. This is going to be a pretty quilt.

  2. I agree, very pretty.

  3. Yes – I love the colors!!! Sue

  4. I must admit I have been challenged by the colour options from the Jinny Beyer Pallet. There is only one yellow, so I will be using it several times. |There are way more purples and greens that I could ever have imagined. I have avoided purples and oranges in my quilting years and here they are taking center stage. I have been enjoying the vibrancy of colour after 3 years of working with the muted civil war pallet witrh my Dear Jane. So, just because I can and because I have so many colour choices, I have started Barbara Brackman’s Votes for Women in purple and green. I impulsively bought 8 1/2 yards of a purple and green border print a few months ago for “someday”. Its going to be a busy winter.
