I got my blocks together for the first quarter of the quilt. I am in such a good mood now. Its not the best. Most of my blocks are not that great, but I do have it done and to me its an accomplishment with such hard blocks. Happy Sewing

Congrats!Your quilt looks beautiful! I think that many of us can share the sense of accomplishment when we’ve completed so many challenging blocks. This quilt project is quite an adventure, isn’t it?

This looks fantastic, I don’t know why you think it’s not the best. Looks pretty good to me. Mine is also together and I’d say looks like yours and I am very happy with mine. I think that we are all enjoying the doing is important and I am certainly learning lots of new techniques.

I feel the same about some of my blocks……I guess we need to remember that we are humans and not machines….
and that “imperfection” is part of art…..
I still have that last applique block to tackle and then I’ll get mine together too…..
