Block #23
It’s taken me nearly a year and three tries, but I finally finished block # 23 – Grandma’s Favorite Compass. As the saying goes, done is better than perfect, so I did a bit of reverse machine applique to get the block done. In the grand scheme of things I think it will be OK.
Well done! I completed mine about a month after it was posted and more than 1 try. I ended up appliqueing a circle into the center.
This block looks great! I think I might suggest that if anyone else has difficulty with it then maybe try Lyn Brown’s “Bridges” applique technique. She has a tute on her web page.
