After three tries, I gave up on Block 10. I couldn’t get it to lie flat. I substituted the block you see in the lower right corner, which is called “Wedding Rings.”

I really like your substitution block! I am going to trade out blocks I don’t like too .. like the hearts in round 1 and I think I’ll do a different 9″ house for this round.
I’ve never done a pattern yet that I didn’t put my own spin on! This looks great!
I can’t seem to get block 8 to come out right. I have remeasured every pc. and it just isn’t fitting (first diag.) Please let me know if the measurements for cutting are correct – if they are, then I’m doing something wrong but I can’t find out what. LOL
