Grandma’s Favorite …
I needed two weeks to be able to start sewing the block of Grandma’s Favorite Compass because at the first time I was frightened of the hand piecing and the applique. It took me one day but I am not pleased with my work. The hardest step was the melons applique.
It’s beautiful! It certainly took me more than one day, and the melons were the hardet part fo me. We must be twins!!

I think it looks wonderful! Still working on mine- this is my first hand-pieced and I’m so slow! But now that we have the layout, I’m even more motivated to keep going and get it done.
