Rainbow of Hand Dyes To Date
I very very please to say I am all caught up. The hand piecing nearly did me in! I chose not to applique the melons, but rather to hand piece everything on the compass block. I also chose to machine applique the large orange block. I have confirmed some things about myself – I love paper piecing, I still really dislike hand applique, but I never thought I would see a benefit to hand piecing certain blocks. I have added a new skill to my arsenal! Thanks for pushing me out of my box.
I have chosen not to stitch any blocks together at this time, so that I have more flexibility with a pleasing color arrangement at the end.
