Sentimental Stitches

For those of you just joining in the fun of collecting the March Motifs here's a review of how to get your patterns.

Each day during the month, in that day's message, is a little framed drawing with text under it like the one you see below. If you click on the picture you'll be taken to the Sentimental Stitches Flickr album which has some great photos to look at but won't give you a workable pattern. You need to click on the text right under the framed drawing A PDf file will open for you to print (or save a copy) of the pattern for that day.
Patterns are only available for 1 day and then retired. If you miss patterns, you can purchase them in groups of six in the online store. Right now patterns 1-6 and 7-12 are in the store. Later today patterns 13-18 will be added.

Remember too, on Tuesday nights the site may be down for the webmaster to work on improvements so I'll give everyone some extra time to get that design.

We have a combination of snow, sleet, freezing rain and wet rain here today. I thought with the first official day of spring coming this week we'd be through with all this and just had to wait for the snow to melt. Guess I was wrong. They say after today we'll have sunshine the rest of the week.

I had two ladies come in the store yesterday. Flashing lights, beads, green nail polish, huge hats and funky shoes. They were having a wonderful time celebrating the holiday and gave Clutch a little green velvet hat to wear for St. Patrick's Day.

March Block 18

I'm not Irish but did put on the green before coming to work today. I also overslept, well actually, I didn't set the alarm last night and woke up an hour late so it's my own fault.

Sunshine's Creations loves yoyos of all kinds as much as I do. She put together a really cute tutorial on her blog to make a Yoyo Shamrock. She started with the yoyo hearts on Penny Sanford's blog and took off from there.
